For seven years, in the Washington, DC metro-area, I have taught novice and experienced writers the skills that have empowered them to finish a first draft of their books within two months. (Amazing, you say? How many months/years have you labored to get your novel written?) The course was called: The Extreme Novelist. Since finishing that 8-week course, some of my writers have gone on to secure literary agents to represent their work to major publishers. Some of these have sold their novels to big names like Macmillan, Simon & Schuster, or HarperCollins (my publisher).
